We've been together a long time. He goes out of town alot to hunt. I totally trust him and have never given him a reason not to trust me. He was gone all this weekend, and for the first time, hes called me constantly wanting to know where i was and who i was with and what i was doing and what i was going to do. Well, i went to lay out at my girlfriends pool yesterday, and its been a while since i shaved, so before i went, i shaved everything. He got home before me and when i got home, he said "theres hair in the tub, did you shave? whod you shave for?" wtf? why would he ask me that? why is he giving me the third degree? what makes your S.O. all of a sudden act like this with no provocation? i was stupid, and didnt really talk about it right then but now ive been thinking about it all day and i am livid and dont know how to confront him about it. is he trying to catch me doing something so he will feel less guilty about some thing hes done? and what could he have done?

sounds like he did something wrong and is now paranoid that you could have done something wrong.

You are over analyzing the situation. He might just be jealous. Some guys are very protective over there girls when they go out of town. As far as confronting him goes...then just tell him that you love him and there is no reason to worry. Let him know that there is not a chance of another guy coming into your life as long as he is around. If he still insists that you are cheating then tell him you guys should take a break. He needs to work through his jealousy issues before you can progress in your relationship.

You have it right on the dot. He has done something he feels guilty about. In the back of his mind he's wondering if you are doing the same. He's trying to find some flaw in your actions, so when you find out about his it won't seem that bad.

Sadly I think he is cheating or maybe he heard something about you while he was out of town. I don't know it could be both ways. Try to talk to him and ask him why he's acting like this.

Sounds like guilt to me. Be direct and ask him. Tell him exactly how you feel and see his reaction, then judge if hes telling the truth from there. Who knows? Maybe someone lied to him and made something up.

He is cheating and it makes him paranoid that you are doing it too. There is a story about guilt called the tell tale heart. His own guilt got the best of him.

From personal experience I find most people try to deflect blame from themselves by pointing the finger at the other person. Trust you're intuition, if your gut is telling you he's cheating, then he probably is.

Tell him if he kept his a.s.s home more he would know why you shaved, and what you were doing and who you are with.. He is guilty of something so he is trying to question you to cover up his guilt...

What makes you think he is cheating? I think he could be acting a little insecure. That's about it.....

Another thing.......People need to stop with this "he is cheating" talk. There is not ONE thing that points to him cheating. No wonder why some people think their lover is cheating......It's because there friends always give bad advice.

HE IS NOT CHEATING......SEE "INSECURE"

He thinks that you are doing the same thing he is. Make sure you have evidence before you question him.

He's suspitious because he's cheating, he can only hide this by being suspitious of you, move on before you're stuck with him.
