Are you talking about electric kids' sidwalk type scooters or the gas ones that can be run on the street? Any large department store should carry the former, while a search for "motorized scooter" on the internet should give you a list of dealers for the latter. There are a bunch of Chinese made models being imported that are decent quality, but fairly cheap.

My mom bought my brother's at Checker Auto Parts, so I would check your local auto parts places, NAPA, Pep Boys maybe? I don't know about the latter, as they are not in my area. But I'm sure you can find some on eBay or somewhere similar. But use "Motorized" instead of "Motorize" for better results.
