It's extremely common. It's as common as the cell phone. lol

Yeah, sex is fun, but even as a young guy, I have to say quality is better than quantity. It seems like most of us have a phase we go through where we feel the need to sow the wild oats or whatever, and that's fine, although you've gotta be careful. I have no "moral" issue with casual sex at all, you just have to not be an idiot. But when you're over that, it's more about finding people you can have really GOOD sex with. It's not going to be everybody.

You have to do one thing and it is oddly enough the same thing you have to do in your serious relationships as well. Ready?

COMMUNICATE!!!!

You have to set some ground rules and i'm not talking about what positions are banned i'm talking about rules to make sure what goes on stays non-committal. One problem guys have is they think they love a girl because she's good in bed but a real romance is how she makes you feel when you're not making an imprint of your bed frame in the wall.

Have an agreement and if one of you breaks it the other must be strong in enforcing it by not letting the other in the bed room or apartment or what have you. I've been hurt and have hurt girls when we made the mistake of not setting certain rules. If you have to write them down.

Casual sex can be very therapeutic and relieve a lot of stress but if not approached in a mature and responsible way will create stress.

It was the thing to do in the 80's. No drama just sex. Keep feelings out of it and all will be fine. If you want to start I am more than willing to help you.

If you don't want any drama the key is to clarify NSA
basically meaning NO STRINGS ATTACHED OR ALLOWED
depending on what region of the world you are from.
eith wat NSA means NO DRAMA!, no friendships no cordial
anything. It could also mean SEX ONLY as in a one night stand
be carefull if you want something more from this person
you will forfiet the rite to expect it if your relationship is NSA
good luck

Hell ya!!!!

If it is between two consenting adults and if it is explained that this is just a purely sexual relationship and the moment we get more deeply involved we will take a break and discuss these bad bad feeling messing up our quality sex time!!!

You think so?

I think people brag a lot. I am not convinced it's that common to just "hook up" so casually.

It is not worth it! Its confusing, dumb, ir-responsible, etc..

Personal opinion... be true to yourself if you see you dont want to do that sort of thing...great you have more strength than the next person!

It can be a mistake, then again it can be really worth it.
I think it all depends on how YOU feel about it that matters.
