If you could put it in a soft place, in a closed box (with holes for air) and take it to a vet or a wildlife hospital, that's best. Otherwise, keep it in a box like that with food (seeds) and some water and see how it goes. But it sounds like he's hurt and needs a vet.

Don't handle it too much with your hands. It will cause more stress. Put bird in a cage covered with cloth and bring it to the vet.The vet will help you out from there or seek help from your local SPCA. Don't let it lying on your lawn. A cat will eat it or eagle or owl.

why dont you take the bird to the vet or at the closer pet market maybe if you tell them what happen then see if they can help you out with the bird? can it fly if not then must got a damge wing then. you can just ask your mom or dad for help to see if they can put a bandge on the injury bird wing and just take care of it til get heal and better . if u going kee p it you should put it in the box with outdoor grasses and gave foods and water to clam down the bird least . dont leave it hangin out side cus might the cat will kill it ifcant fly away .

I would take him to a vet or call animal control. I had an owl that got caught in a fence once and I called animal control because they have numbers for rescue groups. In my case, someone from a bird sanctuary took the owl in for rehabilitation. Good luck!

Take it to a vet....fast! Or just make sure the local cat doesn't get it, other than that I would leave it, because if you pick it up, it will probably just give it a heart attack. It may just be winded or shocked. Hopefully it will fly off in a min.
You sound like a really kind guy, nice one.

Ordinarily I would say leave it to nature, but if the poor thing is suffering (as much I respect everything's right to life) put it out of it's misery.
