Im trying to work out whether this is true as someone is trying to sell me fake gear and this could prove it

Thanks everyone for your answers i knew this was the case but this bloke is telling me he has started signing aka Cassius Clay on his autographs again, i was interested in a Barrera belt he has for sale but now i know he is a fraud i wont be buying it from him.

Ali only signs as Muhammed Ali. He does not even mention his "Slave" name Cassius Clay. This is indeed a fact and not just my opinion.

In earlier days he signed as Cassius Clay but after he changed his religion he only went by Muhammad Ali. Depends on when this person is saying this was signed.If it is sometime in 1964 or after it should be signed Muhammad Ali.

We actually have a retired boxer in Barbados who calls himself Cassius Clay, has written a book and signs his name Cassius Clay but I am confused because he is not Mohammed Ali??
