I will be going to my local community college in January to earn my A.A.S. in Respiratory Care.
The program I'll be doing is a 5 semester 72-74 credit hours and it is accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) education.
My question is where can I go with this degree, should I go straight into the workforce or transfer to a 4 year and continue on to earn a baccalaureate or graduate degree?
What type of jobs and or pay would I be looking at with just the A.A.S, versus a Baccalaureate or grad degree?
I will be meeting with an adviser in November to discuss all this but would like to start thinking on this now.
