The "lucky buddha" (Fat Buddha) is not the same buddha used in buddhist rituals, it's more of a supersticious tradition. However, a fat buddhist would just mean they're in a very prosperous life, whereas a skinny buddhist could mean that he or she is in a very spiritual awakening. Either way, above the height, weight and color, true buddhists would try to find their nirvana while knowing that judging others wouldn't help to their goals.

The short answer is no.
That being said, you have to remember that Buddhists are just human beings and so some people may not be nice all the time. But that's nothing to do with Buddhism. The Buddha's teachings are accessible in some form for every living being, and are beneficial to all.

Go ask the fat fake Buddhist white boy standing outside of the Vietnamese mall in Orange County. He probably makes about $400-$1,000 a day

They would be treated like everyone else. But being truly Buddhist would cause weight loss.

No.

And to the morons above who said buddha was fat, he was not.

Accounts clearly describe buddha as being grossly emaciated most of his life.

The fat buddha image was created to give the image of happiness and contentment. Original buddha statues, and those still true to form show buddha as very thin. It was a single sect of buddhism that adopted the fat buddha, and it was done out of symbology not literalism.
