My 3yo has canker sores in his mouth. How can I help him,theyre really hurting him. I cant give him listerine to gargle but anything else?

At the time its not due to stress. He's had a fever. Its the first time he's had this,my older child never experienced this.

TAKE HIM TO THE DOCTOR TO SEE WHAT THEY RECOMMEND HIS SORES IN HIS MONTH BECAUSE HE IS YOUNG MAYBE THEY THE DOCTOR CAN GIVE HIM SOMETHING FOR HIS SORES

get some canker sore medicine at the drug store. ask a person who works there if there is some that can be used on small children, and try to get some that doesn't burn. also, people can get canker sores from stress, so see if you can help make your child less stressed. sending him to daycare or having nightmares can cause a child to be stressed. take all of these things into consideration.

My 3yo had sores in her mouth at first then rapidly a body rash appeared(tops of hands and feet mostly)She had what was called-HAND,FOOT MOUTH DISEASE.Make sure he washes his hands well.There are no meds for it.The rash was gone in 2 days but the sores stayed in her mouth for 5 days.She got to eat alot of ice cream and yogurt to ease the pain of eating.Good luck
