To make themselves feel better, that way they won't feel so bad for being brunettes, and not being as desired and hot as blondes are.
By the way honey, you must be a blonde, because you misspelled brunette. But you know what, that's okay. Because if you're a blonde you can get away with it. People are too busy looking at how hot you are to notice you can't spell!
