Because now you know a whole new side of that person. You have been more intimate. Someone or both people have "shared a secret" so to speak. There's now something about him or her that only a few people know. To let you go that far means that he or she can trust you with a few other things as well (emotions, secrets, gossip, love, etc.) so, now that person is willing to share other things, including a new life or new relationship depending on how emotional they are about the "experience" or depending on how GOOD the experience was. If it was great, then of course, the person wants more and want the feelings to grow as well.

People are meant to mate for life. Sex is a bonding experience between mates. It is not meant to be a game that's played with anyone who catches your eye just because it's fun. Society has promoted the idea over the last 40 years that sex is just a cool, fun activity that can be enjoyed with anyone, but if that's what you're doing, having sex with anyone who catches your eye, then you're missing out on something very important. The feelings are your instincts kicking in because they think whoever you just had sex with is your mate.

lol! I can't stop laughing at the response about catching something else. lol! How can you 'catch' feelings? They are not a disease or a ball. If you mean 'develop' feelings I can't understand why you would be having sex with someone you don't already have feelings for. I hope you're not a prostitute! I can't help you much because I don't understand how you can live like that.

Sex is not just a physical act. It can be a very emotional and spiritual thing. It's almost impossible to stop yourself from developing feelings for the person that you're having that kind of relationship. This is why most casual sex-based relationships don't last that long.

There are exceptions to this, of course, but for most people, the heart gets in the way.

I'm not buying the catching feelings after sex thing. I think that in most cases, the feelings are there already, and sex just magnifies them.

That means you have tender ****! Just like some guys are tender d***ed. That's an issue of using your brain over your cooch. Women blame men all the time for thinkin with their d***s all the time. Same situation, different gender.
