I don't have the same story, but I have had similar struggles. I found that my desire to love Jesus was stronger than all the stuff that was in me that didn't love Him. When I was first seeking Him I hated even the mention of His name. But I was honest with Him about it, and I said, "Jesus, I don't know why I have this, and I'm sorry about it."
And He worked with me. And now I love Him and love His name!
The only way to get anywhere with God is in persisitence. Don't give up just because you tried it a time or two. Ask, seek, and knock. I like how the Amplified Bible says that verse of scripture (Matthew 7:7 and 8): Keep on asking, and it will be given you; keep on seeking, and you will find; keep on knocking [reverently] and [the door] will be opened to you (Jesus is the door, John 10:7). For everyone who keeps on asking receives, and he who keeps on seeking finds, and to him who keeps on knocking [the door] will be opened.
It's not that God is hard to reach. He's ready and waiting. We're the ones who are hard to reach. Our hearts get hardened by sin and all the pain and abuse in the world. But the good news is that with every prayer we pray He is working, diligently trying to get through so that He can take away the stony heart that is hardened by sin and mend the heart that is broken.
Just don't give up until He has gotten through. Wouldn't it be such a tragedy to find out later that He was only 1 or 2 prayers away from breaking through when you dropped out?
And that's the thing. Most people give up before the miracle happens. You don't have to be in those statistics.

Well, you'd sound less confused if you used some punctuation and grammar. It always helps.
But anyway, I get the idea that you're not sure if you believe in God. I think that's common, and it's ok. I questioned my faith for about 5 years, didn't live for God. I then realized that I needed God, and that my life was meaningless without Him. Ever since, I've had a great time serving Him and I've seen the reality of His existence. I am now in school for ministry. I should tell you that over the years, many people told my parents that there was a call to ministry on my life - and I never believed it, or even wanted to be a pastor. To me, that's one small piece of evidence that God is there, out of all the evidence I've seen over the years. My life has changed so much, in good ways, and I know without God, I wouldn't be the person I am today.

God Bless You.God is there he's always been there. Get a Bible, read the book of John .Pray before during and after you read . Ask that you may understand all that you read. Repent of your sins, believe Jesus is the son of God who came and died on a cross as a sacrifice for you sins Jesus wants a personal relationship with you. And in time you'll mature and fully understand the saving grace that God has bestowed on you. Hell is very real and I wish more people would take it as serious as you have.

Jesus wants a personal loving relationship with you. He doesn't want to scare or intimidate anyone into accepting Him. He's not the Mafia type. When you're finally ready, you will know it. He's always ready and waiting with His hand reaching out.
Just keep praying for Him to prepare your heart to receive His unconditional love. It's a free gift you know. Just like the free gift of salvation. Find a church home like www.northpoint.org that teaches the Truth in a fun way and start going and growing!

when you ask Jesus to forgive your sins and to come and live in you and you Believe that He hears you and has forgiven you then He will do it. Confess that Jesus is Lord and get yourself a Bible to start reading. It's His love letter to you. All of the promises, they are yours if you will obey His word and love Him. Start telling others about what He has done for you and get involved in a Bible preaching church.

The Bible says, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, he rescues those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18 NLT).
YOUR MOST PROFOUND AND INTIMATE EXPERIENCES OF WORSHIP WILL LIKELY BE IN YOUR DARKEST DAYS-when your heart is broken, when you feel abandoned, when you're out of options, when the pain is great- and you turn to God alone. It is during suffering that we learn to pray our most authentic, heartfelt, honest- to-God prayers. When we're in pain, we don't have the energy for superficial prayers.
It takes time somtimes, be patient, and pray, I will for you too:)

Be careful reading some of the answers here. They will lead you in the wrong direction.
Listen to your heart.
The Bible says in Jermiah 29:12-13 "Then you will call upon and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."
As much as you want to love Jesus. He loves you more and desires a relationship with you.

what is holding you back from accepting Jesus as your savior? what is holding you back from sincerely repenting from your sins? if you want to love Jesus, go for it! get to know him better. talk to him. God is a big God, and you don't need perfect beliefs to love him.

I know a couple of guys who can help you find your way. Have a talk with them, make a list of your questions, and see if they can help you find your answers.
It makes a lot of difference when you can know that God leads his and directs his church today, as opposed to leaving men to figure out their own way based on prophets of 2000 years ago. If God loved his people enough then to send prophets, why not now?
