I can laugh because I was once a southern Baptist.
I joined the Southern Baptist church against my mothers wishes at age 14. I was told that once saved always saved and no matter what I did, I could never lose my salvation.
I joined the Assembly of God church and then the UPC and the preacher who baptized me kept telling me I was still a Baptist and kept my name on the roll. I even studied with the jehovah's witness and still was on the Baptist roster. Heck I even did a few months as an athiest and still I was consedered a Baptist. all that changed however when I went 20 years without seeing my old preacher and he came where I worked one time and recognized me, but when he found out I had been a member of the Chruch of Christ for 20 years he imediatly went to the church building and took my name off the church roster and I even recieved a letter informing me I had been taken off the roster as I was no longer a Christian.
I asked why I was no longer considered a Christian when all those years I was told once saved always saved and the preacher informed me that I was never a Christian to begin with or else I would never have become a member of the Churh of Chtist.

Hey I am a Southern Baptist and you would have adored any time with me. I would have a beer for you when you walked in the door, supper would be cooking and I would give you a nice massage after dinner!
Not all Southern Baptists are potluck lovers who don't dance or have sex!
