look u don't want to delete it all they will doubt in you.. so why don't you just make the option to keep it 1 or 2 or 0 days from :tools _internet option_ then you'll find down the history ..
then after finishing the net u can just open the history and delete the sites u don't want anyone to see ... I'm saying what u visited might be bad website but maybe personal and u don't any one to know... well , to be honest thats what I do .... hope u understand what I meant however if u don't u can email me for explaination

its quite simple really, all u do is right click at ur internet explorer or w/e ur using then go to properties and a box will appear, right away u'll see clear history. click it :), also u might want to change the number into 0 so it auto deletes it the next day.

if u have a computer that saves the search words and u want to delete that, at the same box go to the content tab, then go to autocomplete click on the clear forms and all the words u searched will be clear

when the drop down menu from the address bar comes down........ with all the topics you've searched for comes up....... just highlight the top one and press delete

put your cursor on the one you want gone..hit delete.

better to go to
Tools
Internet files
Temporary Internet Files - delete cookies.
and
History - Clear History set files kept at zero.

go up to your tool bar, click on tools, and then click internet options. THen you can deleate all the cookies, deleate files ( you can also deleate the offline contents), and you can just click the "clear history" button and it will clean every page you went through. I dont know if this would work with a Macintosh computer.
