preacher: Thanks for adding that riveting comment.

1. Monkeys will never evolve into man because we have diverged on two completely separate evolutionary paths.
2. Carbon dating is far more accurate than dr.dino would have you believe. It is only good till about 50,000 years though because of c14's relatively short half life. There are other isotopes used for longer periods of time
3. Fossils of hominids have been found that show a pretty good array of our ancestors. These are not fakes or monkeys, but ancient creatures that walked upright, had large brains, and the closer you get to now the more they look like us.
Google australopithecus, homo erectus, or neaderthal

That would depend on what type of evolution you are talking about.

I do beleive that micro evolution is accuring. Animals change and adapt to their environments all the time. A good case in point is a tropical fish that lives off the coast of Catalina Island. It has developed the ability to tolerate the colder water there.

I do not, however, believe in Darwinian macro evolution, which is the changing of one specise into another. There is evidence that such an evolution cannot occur. Microbiology, the lack of fossil evidence, etc speaks against the classical aproach.

I am not sure about punctuated evolution, which is some massive event that changed life from time to time. The mechanics of the theory still need to be ironed out in my opinion it has the best chance to explain how things got to be the way they are.

If we evolved from monkeys, monkeys would still be evolving into man and there is no documented proof that this has continued to be so. Carbon dating has been proven inaccurate. Findings of Ape men have proven to be apes that died in the same area as men (ie Lucy). There is no proof of evolution that hasn't been disproven. It is a theory not fact. And theory isn't fact until it is proven to be so.

The whole premise of evolution sits on a foundation of spontaneous life from lifelessness. That whole theory is fatally flawed because of the chirality of the DNA molecule. If God is the Creator of all things there was no need for evolution. God made us the way He wanted us first time... Jim

It violates known laws of science
The irrefutable evidence is not there to support it
The "theory" is constantly changing to fit the revealed evidence
Those who buy it are becoming fewer and fewer as more evidence is revealed.

It is a belief system, a world view, a religion. It is not science, never has been, never will be.

i think there is a difference between macro-evolution and micro-evolution. micro-evolution is when small changes occur within a species. macro-evolution is changes that transcend the species barrier. i think micro-evolution happens all the time, but there has been no real hard evidence for macro-evolution.

With God in complete control evolution is unnecessary.
