My girlfriend of over a year and I want to have sex because we love one-another, but we both fear her overly protective/abusive mother. We're both 17 years old, and are planning on getting married after college. My house always has people in it, and hers is home to her 64 year old adoptive mother. I want our first time to be special, and romantic. I don't want to have it rushed for any reason. She lives right down the street from me. I need ideas where it would be romantic, slow, special, and private. And remember, we do plan on getting married.

If you have a little money to burn, consider a hotel? Not a seedy one, a nice one.

Wait. I'm sure you love each other today, but loving each other long-term means sticking it out through tough times as well as easy ones. If you guys can wait until marriage you will prove to each other that you love each other. That your relationship is different than all the rest.
Nothing will make your first time better than knowing that you are committed to someone who is equally committed to you for a lifetime.
Overly protective and abusive are 2 different things. If you already have those feelings towards her mother your relationship long-term is in jeapoardy. Despite what some think, you do wind up marrying the family as well.
It is hard to see the truth in these words at 17, but I promise from the lives of so many of my friends... none of them have ever said, " I wish we had sex sooner." It is always, "I wish we would have waited."

Since you plan on getting married, why son't you just wait. There should be no hurry now. Or at least wait until your done with school. Pregnancy can happen the first time you have sex. If your going to do it anyway, go to a planned parenthood or some kind of teen center and both get tested and BOTH get birth control. (male- condoms, female- the pill or any one of the countless options that are out there.) I don't care if it's both your first time...people can still carry diseases. Also, a girls first time always sucks. It's akward and hurts like hell. Don't expect it to go as planned.

Wait until you are married, if you want your marriage to last then wait. Just think if you are her first and she is your first then there are no worries about AIDS, gonorrhea, herpes or anything like that. Also, she can't compare you to anyone and you won't compare her to anyone. Besides you are way to young, what happens if she gets pregnant? And I don't know if anyone has told you this or not, you can still get pregnant even if you are on the pill, use condoms or any other kind of protection. The only 100% sure way of not getting a disease or pregnant is to NOT HAVE SEX!!!

umm buy your own house. That is a special place and if you can't you should not be having sex. If you get her pregnant wich will be just great it will suck living with the 64 year old adoptive mother who will have her nose in your crack every morning. Think about it. She love you , and you love her. Wack off.

Stay off the horse! Sex is not for 17 years old! It's for people who can buy their own dinner, and pay their own rent, and buy a darn ring on her finger! Then you don't need a scarry stpemom to fear. Would it kill you to wait until you're married?

The best way to do it is when it is right. Planning it sucks as it will not live up to your expectations. Especially for your first time. Do it when the time is right.

Then if you plan on getting married why don't you wait until then. That's if you really love each other.
