in islam if the husband says the word "talaq" 3 times. That means they are divorced!!!!!!!!!!

on 3 different occasions, Yes! and then they are divorced, they can go ahead and do the paper work.
God knows that sometimes people lose their temper and could easily get a divorce when they really dont want to. that's why they have 2 chances before they can separate.

but now, in some middle east countries legally a woman can divorce the man whether he wants to or not.

no way! That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard, what if you ave a big fight and a th spur of the moment you are angry and say that word? far too easy to get a divorce. can the women say something like that also?

I've heard that,
It's kinda messed up, because now the women has to go trough a huge long proccess, and even then, if the man doesn't concent then the divorce won't go through.

Damn....should've converted before I divorced my first wife....could've saved a TON on lawyer's fees and alimony....
