You will definitely lose weight faster by cutting the beer intake. Because of the way that beer is made (fermentation of yeast, hops, water, etc.) the final product is really a simple sugar carbohydrate. Although the average beer has only 125+ calories (per bottle), multiply that 125 calories by fifteen or twenty, and you have yourself an excess 1875 to 2500 calories to burn. Those calories go right to your gut. And most people drinking that much will pass out and sleep- causing your body to store all those calories instead of burning them. You don't have to cut out beer altogether, as it does have a few health benefits, but try to limit it to 2 beers an evening. You'll find the pounds dropping off after a few weeks. It may be a sacrifice, but you'll be happy you did it.

You'll DEFINITELY see better results if you cut the beer. Alcohol has 7 calories per gram, as opposed to carbs and protein, which have 4 calories per gram, so it's harder to metabolize alcohol than food. Just read an article that says alcohol causes fat gain around the midsection while at the same time having a "wasting" effect on the gluteal (butt) and thigh muscles. Not good. Add to that the fact that you're drinking at least 15 beers a night on Friday and Saturday, and there's no way your body can use up all the calories in 15 beers, so guess what happens to the stuff your body doesn't need? Yup, it stores it on your body as fat. BOTTOM LINE: Skipping the suds will accelerate your weight loss efforts, continuing to binge on the weekends will be counterproductive.

Well if it is one low carb beer I would say no! You are okay. (By the way, congratualtions on the weight loss)
Beer is made up of carbohydrate which have a tendency to to add unwanted weight gain. So if you can find a low carb beer or (light beer) it would be better.
Remember that calories count and that 3500 calories not burned off turns to a pound of body weight. The following is for 12 ounces.
Budweiser 145 calories 10.6 carbs
Bud Light 110 calories 6.7 carbs
Coors 142 calories 10.6 carbs
Coors Light 102 calories 5.0 carbs
Michelob Beer 155 calories 13 carbs
Michelob Light 134 calories 6.7 carbs
How this helps and gives you some idea.

If you drink 15 to 20 beers even once on the weekends, you have completely cancelled out all the good stuff you are doing during the week. YES, CUT OUT THE BEERS!

Dude,
Beer is basicly like eating bread. If you figure that each beer is half a loaf of bread... Cut back, yo.
