we are thinking of a Frank Sinatra tune, as they have great words but bit of toe tapping rythm to move to.

RADAR LOVE
GOLDEN EARRING
I've been drivin' all night, my hand's wet on the wheel
There's a voice in my head that drives my heel
It's my baby callin', says I need you here
And it's a half past four and I'm shiftin' gear
When she is lonely and the longing gets too much
She sends a cable comin' in from above
Don't need no phone at all
We've got a thing that's called Radar Love
We've got a wave in the air, Radar Love
The radio is playing some forgotten song
Brenda Lee's comin' on strong
The road has got me hypnotized
And I'm speedin' into a new sunrise
When I get lonely and I'm sure I've had enough
She sents her comfort comin' in from above
We don't need no letter at all
We've got a thing that's called Radar Love
We've got a light in the sky
(Instrumental break)
No more speed, I'm almost there
Gotta keep cool now, gotta take care
Last car to pass, here I go
And the line of cars drove down real slow
And the radio played that forgotten song
Brenda Lee's comin' on strong
And the newsman sang his same song
Oh one more radar lover gone
When I get lonely and I'm sure I've had enough
She sents her comfort comin' in from above
We don't need no letter at all
We've got a thing that's called Radar Love
We've got a light in the sky
We've got a thing that's called Radar Love
We've got a thing that's called Radar Love

Relight my fire by take that - i have always said to my other half, how cool would it be to get a choreographer and learn a fast dance, can you imagine the crowd - it could start off slow then all of a sudden you are well into the dancing together. Good luck

I went to a wedding a few months ago where the first dance was Madness - It Must Be Love.
I am currently trying to convince my fiancé to let us have Can't Take My Eyes off of You by Andy Williams (We get married in December!)

The Maverics - Dance the Night Away, my sister in law used that for her first song at her wedding and it never failed to get everyone up on the dancefloor

Getting wed? congratulations!
Are there any songs that are special to you or your other half? They don't have to be slow.
Maybe just one you both like.
For what it's worth, "hard days night" by the beatles is a good one to set the tone for the evening.

The Sweetest Thing by U2. We used it as a song to cut cake with, but if you already have a song for that, I'd suggest that song.

We had 'Only you' by Yazoo, which isn't too slow and we had loads of compliments on it being an excellent first song.
If you want it to be funny you could have 'You're the one that I want' from Grease.
Have a Fab day!
