I could not find the remote yesterday and had to watch Joel Osteen's wife for about five minutes before I decided to old school it and change the channel myself. I was struck with how frequently she kept saying how she knew God and the things she was saying were his will and the truth. I understand that Christians believe the Bible is the word of the big guy, but this seemed rather arrogant to me that someone could stand there and act as if they knew for certain the things they were saying would lead a person to salvation...no ifs, and, or buts. How can one claim to know anything of something which we cannot hear, see, or even comprehend? How can one be certain that their particular beliefs are the truth? There have been literally hundreds of different religions. It just seems a little egocentrical that people can put themselves up on pedastals this way.

Yes and it is obvious "God(s)" of any and all religions is/are not the real source of this creation and therefore only a lie(s).

The real source of this creation(universe) is available ONLY through logic and scientifically verifiable facts.

Belief only avails deception. Rationally, it is a highly unreliable means to establish any fact let alone 'the truth'. Realize also that belief is the one and only thing a con-artist must achieve in order to succeed. Would the real creator stoop so low as to require us to resort to this means to recognize it?

This entity called "God" is if anything the Ultimate Deceiver/Destroyer in disguise, based upon the facts, not any belief as i am a 100% non-believer.

If anyone seeks a factually based understanding of the source of our/this creation know that it is available, simply ask.

Absolute truths can never be known abosolutely. Subjective truths can only be "known" subjectively. What one person sees as truth is seen as falsehood to the majority of others.
