so you are saying you did nothing at all, or do you mean that you don't believe the reason you are being punished is valid-and 14 is still a child, enjoy it because one day you will wish it back.

Television and TV are just two forms of entertainment, surely there are other things you can keep yourself busy with--you are clearly exaggerating when you say you have absolutely nothing to do. Enroll yourself in after-school programs, read, take singing or dancing lessons, etc. You can also hang out with your friends at home, etc.

If you think you didn't do anything wrong--why don't you go have a talk with your parents and ask them why they're taking away your priveleges. It would help to know. Also, it helps to keep your language clean. Saying bad words or even writing them can offend a lot of people indirectly and directly.

By law a parent is only required to provide you with a bed, clothes and food. They have to provide you with medical treatment when you are ill and make sure you attend school. Other then that all of it is a luxury that they provide out of choice.

Being a mother, one of a young preteen and I can tell you right now the way you were just talking shows me you probably have a bit of an attitude problem and that would be get you grounded pretty fast in my house. But in my house you would also loose your Internet privileges.

You're lucky you're not my child. And you ARE a child.

If you use that sort of language as a 14 year old girl, you'd find manual labor your new friend.

Be glad you're not my child, for you would surely have a shovel in your hand, and would be cleaning ditches in my fields.

If you're 14 years old and you're talking like that, I am inclined to believe you did something to lose these privileges.
