Proteins are ranked according to Biological Values (BV), arbitrary numbers given to protein to show comparisons in their availability within the body. At the time the system was introduced eggs were given the highest BV of 100 because they are the most bio-available natural protein. Afterwards whey was isolated from milk and shown to have a higher BV, and depending on the process used can yield percentage from 104 to 154 on the scale.

To build muscle you need carbs, but carbs need protiens to build new tissue. proteins are the building blocks of your body so if you eat more Proteins then yes it will help you build muscle, there is the opposite end of this though and if you eat a diet that is too rich in protein, besides the foul smells that you will create you can also suffer major side affects. All in all a balanced diet of Proteins, Carbs, Fats and fibre will see you pushing heavier weights in no time.

Whole eggs contain a complete protein that is helpful in building muscle tissue. Egg white, however, does not. It does contain a substance called avidin, which binds with biotin (one of the B vitamins) and removes it from the body, causing a potential deficiency. And unless yours are farm eggs from a source you know, raw eggs could carry salmonella. Better not!

people generally stay away from whole egg because of cholesterol. egg white protein can be bought as a supplement. take protein within 30 mins of finishing training or the effect is lost. take a supplement drink ready made up so you can drink it straight after training,
