OK, so the Ark was plundered from the temple of Solomon hundreds and hundreds of years ago.
I also understand that King Cyrus or Persia returned many of the treasures lost in this plunder.
So, what is it doing in the Etheopian orthodox church?
Why is it that they are hogging it?
Why is nobody allowed to see it?
Why haven't we killed us some etheiopians to get it?
Answers plz.

If anybody who cared really thought it was there they would have done something to get it back...my guess is that it isn't there so there is nothing to show

Jeremiah foretold a time when the ark of the covenant would be no more, but that it would not be missed and Jehovah’s worshipers would experience no hardship because of not having it. Instead ‘Jerusalem itself will be called the throne of Jehovah.’—Jer 3:16, 17.
In the symbolic book of Revelation, John says that “the ark of his covenant was seen in his temple sanctuary” in heaven. This ark of the covenant has to do with the new covenant of God with men and the appearing of the Ark was an indication that Jehovah was again ruling by means of his Anointed One.—Re 11:15, 19.

It's highly doubtful the ark ever was in the Jewish temple. The descriptions of the temple artifacts exactly match treasures uncovered in Tut's tomb, including the Ark, which matches a box with 'winged creatures' discovered in his tomb.
It seems likely that egyptian history worked its way into the Hebrew stories. The story about Soloman's temple being raided was invented to explain why they were no longer in posession of these treasures.

It is believed by some that the ark was sent into hiding before the temple was sacked. In ancient times there was a large Jewish community in Ethiopia.

Why go to war over an ancient relic? It has no Power. Do you think we need to send in Indiana Jones? There are Arks of Plenty all over. It is one of the most copied relics of all time. If they do have the original.. Good for them what can it do from them... We have Christ what more do we need... Jim

most believe that they dont have it, and that they are lying.
if they truly had it, they could use it as a preaching tool, to show the world the truth and history of God here throughout the centuries
