Litterally, it does include suicide. In that it says that thou shalt not kill. It didn't say kill what or who. Suicide is a form of killing so yes.
This based on the grammatical structure of the statement.
As for if God intended it, i cannot say.

Because the commandments were simple: do not murder.
We try to hard to over complicate things.
Jesus actually fulfilled the old covenant forming a new covenant, his command is summed up as Love one another.
In the nature of love, you wouldn't wish harm on someone and wouldn't wish to deprive them of anything, including yourself. Therefore suicide is a selfish act and out of integrity with Love.
Making suicide against the will of God.

The actual translation of the commandments requires you to not kill another Jew, as they were given as rules to the Jewish nation. This is not explicitly translated into the the English translations, but the literal meaning only covers the kiling of Jews, so providing you believe in all this mad bible nonsense, and you are not a Jew, then killing yourself is fine. Or any other non-Jews if you like. Isn't it great that the bible gives such good moral leadership ;-)

Are you severe? The bible is God's be conscious or maybe though and in case you're asserting "nicely do not basically examine that reason it won't make sense examine the student's writing too" then you definately're asserting the bible won't make sense and you need to not would desire to examine any student's writing's to appreciate the bible. The bible is meant to be the words to stay by potential of and in case you will desire to better realize it with pupils writing's then you definately understand on your heart the bible is organic crap.

Obvuosly, suicide is the killing, or murder, of ones self. I don't need to know if it was accident or on purpose. That is between God and the perp.

According to Dante, the reason is because killing yourself is the willful destruction of God's work (loosely speaking). Killing another and killing yourself are roughly the same, as in each case you are taking a life given by God.
Again: this is Dante's view - not necessarily mine.

David - Suicide will not help you or anyone else and yes we should not do it. Turn to Jesus Christ and you will be changed forever and see things in a totally different way. He is Truth and He is so good. Trust Him today David.

you can still kill some one with out murdering them you can kill them emotionally and spiritually buy making fun of them calling them names saying they are worthless, abuseing them. Just as tho shall not commit adultry, you may not be knocking boots with some one but even looking or saying that guy/girl is hot is committing adultry. SO i would thin sucide would be killing some one too.

Yes. It also shows selfishness towards your creator who promised He would always be by your side.
However, it is not the unforgivable sin, in my opinion. Wrong thinking comes in many flavors, organic, emotional, and spiritual.
We need to provide help for these individuals who talk of suicide. I pray that they aren't silent and successful.

It is the deliberate taking of a human life. It does not matter that it is self-destruction. In modern law, suicide is classified as a homicide.
