... so that Christians/Wiccans/Islams etc. have their own area where it might cut down on evangilising and "bullying"???

BTW, I have started a Yahoo group, it just gets to me when people pick on other religions with no valid reason just that the question is there.

I also don't like when a question is asked on a non-Christian topic and Christians answer with things like "read the bible" etc. It's not right to enforce your beliefs on people that way.

Oh Yes! Definately!.......Those who believe a certain way should log onto a site that believes the same way they believe and stop "Bashing" Others!......PS. Yahoo should "categorize" religious/spiritual categories!.....this would eliminate the "bullying"!.........PS...that was a very good question and maybe yahoo can provide a "solution" to this problem!.....

I think it is just fine the way it is. No matter what yahoo does as far as categorizing these things people who want to argue and be a bully will just go to those sections and be a pest. Just go to the Lesbian, gay and transgendered section and you will find many straights who go there just to pick on gays.

The reason I like it the way it is is because I can come here and as a pagan and Wicca answer questions in that view of things and as a former Christian who was also a lay preacher for many years, I have an opinion on most bible questions. I may not believe the bible anymore, but I still remember what I studied about it when I was reading it everyday for all those years. I have read the Old Testament at least 10 times and the New Testament over 100 in the last 36 years.

The opinions of others does not bother me a bit. Heck my own father used to tell everyone who would listen that I was demon possessed and that was when I was still a faithful Christian, I just wasn't his type of Christian. If he was alive today, he might kill me becaus ei am now Wiccan.

yes, good point they should. i'd hate for the world to cut down on evangelizing, but of course i am bias. and the yelling and stuff need to stop. I think it would be great if their were a section where each who actually believed in these things could discuss, rather than all the interferance

I understand why you are having that thought, but I think it works out best for religious people if we try to keep spirituality in religion, otherwise, they'll stop making any sense. And it's good practice in patience and understanding for spiritual people to tolerate all the, um, interesting religion questions. But I'll just watch and see how your survey goes.

I think it's good sometimes for others to see how other people think. Although the badmouthing and rudeness gets kinda rough at times!

If you seek privacy and homogeneous belief start a Yahoo! group.

Did the KKK and Nazis stay away from blacks and jews, or did they go looking for them to attack them?

Absolutists theists, whether christians or any other religion, will _always_ harangue and harass others.
