If there is a lot of plaque and tartar on the teeth, theyre breath will smell horrible. This should be looked after, because an overgrowth of bacteria in the dogs system can be very harmful. Tell the vet at your next check up, and in the mean time, start brushing your dogs teeth. There are special toothbrushes and paste you can buy from you local pet supply store.

u need do brush his teeth. most people think that doggy breath is normal, but it's not. it's a sign of disease and can lead to tooth decay and eventually kill the dog through heart problems etc. A dog's breath should not smell. take him to the vet once a year for teeth cleaning and then you brush his teeth once a week.
i have a Yorkshire Terrier and they are notorious for bad dental problems., I prevent those by doing what I suggested to you.

Let me tell you I have been using dental treats on my dog for the past 10 months & I can't beleive how his breath & teeth look & smell. They sell all natural dental products & ship to your door monthly. This is the best money I currently spend. Did you know tha t 80 % of dogs suffer from some sort of dental disease. I went to there web site and ordered. Best thing I ever did. Check it out you won't regret it. I don't. ps: spread the word.

Could be a dental problem. We had a dog who had a few teeth pulled and then his breath was fine after that.

Did you check her teeth and gums? Maybe her teeth need cleaning. Or if they're not real bad, you might just need to get some dog toothpaste and a finger brush and brush your dog's teeth.

Age, plaque & tartar buildup, too much wet food. Pay for an annual teeth cleaning at the vet and for in between use an enzymatic toothpaste avail. at your pet store.
