Yes, God does answer prayers. It may not be in the way we were expecting, but it is answered. Example, after my husband lost his job one year.....we were so selfish in praying for a great paying job (and come to find out, he was actually giving us protection from consequences instead!) which actually worked out better. In some cases what we want is not exactly what God wants for us. He wants to bless us far beyond what we can imagine, and in His time.

I thank the Lord for many prayers answered, the answer is a resounding Yes.
But as a Christian I have discovered that our prayers are not always answered the way we might want or expect them to be. God knows better than we do which prayers warrant an answer and how best they should be answered, even if it means no answer.
Real life answers for some of my prayers include receiving instant healing for my neck and a total release from the bondage of smoking.

Yes--God answers prayers that are prayed by a person in the state of grace. Sometime the answer to a prayer is "No". Sometime the answer to a prayer is a way down the road. Sometime he will use someone else to answer prayer. He detests the prayers of the wicked though. (we all are sinners but, those who do not want to be and believe in Jesus are justified in his eyes though) Sometimes though, he answers prayers immediately and with more than what we could imagine. Pressed down running over abundance!!.

Not in this lifetime, sorry. You'll get the answer to the two basic Christian prayers in the afterlife. Those prayers are:
1. The prayer you said telling God that you accept salvation through the sacrifice of Jesus.
2. The prayer you said asking forgiveness for your sins.

Yes i believe he does, and sometimes he dosent, it depends on what you are asking and your lvl of spirituality. We have to realize that most of the time we are selfish and always asking things that dosent really matter. I think a good anology is the relationship of parents with little kids = The perfect being with us (not perfect by all means, and no comparable wisdom). And sorry God isint our genie in a bottle. We pray to find hes wisdom and hes way, and not the other way around. We pray to fulfill hes purpose and not to make him fulfill our purpose.

Absolutely.
Sometimes the answer is "yes".
Sometimes it's "no".
Sometimes it's "not yet".
Keep asking. It's alright.
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Philippians 4:6
In whatever you ask, ask that His will be done in your life.
Sometimes His plan differs from yours but it is always in your best interest.
God bless you.

YES, and God answers our prayers just not when we want or how we want all the time but he answers them how he feels fit.
