Not addressed in the Bible.

But it does say "Thou shalt not kill", for the benefit of politicians and profiteers world wide.

In the old testament, God tells many people (usually the Isrealites) to go to war. The old testament is very bloody and there are even times God order the complete destruction of communities (including women and children).

The new testament never discusses the issue directly that I'm aware of. You could draw inferences from passages like "love your enemies" and "turn the other cheek". But these are generalizations and not directly connected to the issue of war.

In the book of Joshua it deals with this. The two tribes that was given land on the Eastern side of the Jordan river were told that if you have been married for less then a year to stay with your family and then after that year had passed to join the army.

The Bible is totally against of war.....Not directly shown about it but indirectly hate war.
