My wife is spending thousands of dollars on re-doing our toddlers room and getting new stuff for the new baby.. Cuz she’s pregnant. I think she should spend the money on beer for me. Which do u think is more important? I think my beer and she says that its her money anyways so she can spend it on whatever she wants too, cuz I don’t work… but she’s a plastic surgeon so why should I work.. She makes a lot of money. shes at like 5,ooo dollars right now. thats a lot of beer i could have.What do u think should happen here?

I think you need a LOT more than a marriage counselor. Maybe a shrink could help you- maybe not...
Why don't you work? Have you no pride? Don't get in the habit of drinking, because if you don't work- then YOU will be the one at home watching the baby after 6 weeks!
Get some pride and go to work- or start making the things for the nursery that your wife is buying..
Personally I think you made this whole thing up- what doctor would marry someone who stays home and drinks beer all day anyway?

To make everyone happy, why not put a beer tapper in the baby's room ? You could spend lots of time with the youngster this way.
