We have the same problem, our Oak trees are huge! My husband trims the limbs about twice a year, and we have a great satellite signal.

My Sky Dish is pointing directly into a wood and I don't have any problems with it...so be sure that its not just your general signal before moving the dish (contact a local engineer, they will be able to tell you)

Then, as suggested get a ground mount and move it to the other side of the tree...they're pretty ugly though and your neighbours won't like you much for having one!

You may be able to move your Sky dish so that it will "see" the Sky satellite over, around, or through the trees. You may need to employ a ladder and a saw to carve a hole through the tree branches to where the Sky satellite is.

You may even be able to mount the dish on a tree (bolted into the trunk) and run the cable down the trunk, across your yard and into your house.

Move the dish to another location if possible, or move it out past the tree, on a ground mount.

Trim the tree a bit?

Is it totally blocking it? can you put the dish higher so it can see over the tree??
