The holy trinity states that the father, son, and holy spirti are all one and the same. Also, there is no biblical basis for this doctrine:
"Historically, the lack of an explicit scriptural basis for the Trinity was viewed as a disquieting problem,[citation needed] and there is evidence indicating that one mediaeval Latin writer, while purporting to quote from the First Epistle of John, inserted a passage now known as the Comma Johanneum (1 John 5:7) which explicitly references the Trinity"

Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) never talked about Trinity, he never said "I am God" or "Worship Me". You won't find any of those words in the Bible. All these trinity and Jesus being son of god is a manmade concepts. Christians misunderstood the Spiritual Father concept as God having a son... we Muslims believe in God as a Spiritual Father as well, but we do not associate any sons to Him. How can God have a son? Just think!

All Christians believe in the Holy Trinity, not just Catholics. If any religious group denies the Trinity then they are not Christians.

Jesus taught us to baptize in the name of the Father, and Son, and Holy Spirit. He said the Father and I are One. He had to leave before the Holy Spirit could appear. The Bible is full of references to the idea of a Trinity. You simply cannot fathom how it works. But a diamond has more than one facet. Why can God not have more than one persona, or character/face? Even Greek actors understood this concept. One actor often played several parts by wearing a mask or 'persona'. The word was coopted into English. Sound familiar?

Jesus is called God in John Chapter one, The Holy Spirit called God in Acts 5:3-9

God is not dependent upon creation as an object for the exercise of His qualities. He depends on nothing beyond Himself. Therefore the eternal exercise of love requires a plurality of personhood but a oneness of essence. Acting as both agent and object within the God head. As each Person has ever exercised virtue to infinity and eternally, it becomes evident that each has been and ever will be infinitely active as agent and object. If all forms of activity of Persons are to be experienced, there must be conjoint action as well as that which is individual. Two infinite Persons agreeing as agents for the conjoint function of beings must have as object a third person equally as qualified as themselves.
The Father and Son being conjoint agents in the exercise of infinite love have the Holy Spirit as their object; the Son and the Holy Spirit being conjoint agents have the Father as object; The Father and the Holy Spirit being conjoint agents have the Son as the object of their love.
Thus an agreement between reason and revelation is afforded by the Godhead as existing in three as one.
We may not comprehend it but that does not prevent us from apprehending it.
