Im looking to find the burial site of my great uncle who was killed in a grenade attack in dunkirk in 1940 for my parents .does any one know how to go about locating such a thing

when he was a soldier you can they it by the service of the Commonwealth war graves commission . This is the service that maintain all the grave yards of the soldiers of the Commonwealth. Just look at the link and click at search our records. They also have some non Commonwealth graves in there records so when he's a French soldier with a little luck he's in the record.
