I'm 18, he's 20, we live in neighboring cities and interest in dating. I've only known him for about 2 weeks. When should I finally meet him?

I say, the sooner the better.
Be safe - meet someplace neutral, do not give him your address, phone number or last name.
The sooner you meet - the less likely you are to build up expectations for him. If you spend a lot of time on the phone and email - you will start building a picture of him in your mind. And that picture is not the truth. So the sooner you meet, the less you have to lose if it doens't work out.
And for all you know, he could be a 60 year old perv who is lying to you - so meet, be cautious, go someplace neutral and have an escape plan if you want to bail on the date early.

Have him meet you at a restuarant or somewhere else public with a lot of people around. Make sure that you let at least two people know where you are going and call them both afterwards (such as two of you girlfriends or parents). Also, make sure at least one of those people has access to the online info in case of any problems. Good luck, Clark P.S. I met a girl online in July 2001. We met less then a month after chating and emailing online. She brought her sister with her and we met a carnival with plenty of people around. We got engaged a few months later and now we are married and expected our first child! Give it a chance, meeting this person will either help progress the friendship or help you determine if you are incompatible. Either way go for it and bring someone with you and meet in a crowded area...

i would wait another week or so try to get more information about him. make sure on your first meeting to bring somebody, especially if its a night meeting, if no body can go with you and you are still determine to meet him make sure the meeting spot is in a public place were there would be groups of people during the day, and don't get in a car with him alone until your sure your comfortable with him. watch out and good luck.

it's up to you...never meet someone unless you feel 100% comfortable...even then...meet in a public location and take seperate cars the first few time you meet the person. people can act like angles online and over the phone but can be real creaps in person. you just have to go about it in the safest manner possible until you feel comfortable being around the person

When ever you feel comfortable enough to go meet him. You need to be careful when meeting people of the internet. There are some crazy people out there. I would suggest meeting him for coffee or dinner until you get to know him better.....but like i said its up to you when you feel like you know enough about him to meet in person...good luck

Meet him as soon as possible, but in a crowded public area just in case he's a psycho. That will also save you the trouble of falling in love with him online before knowing for sure if he's a psycho or not.

As soon as you are comfortable. But, make him come to your city and have one of your friends be where ever you meet (in public) so that if he turns out to be a freak you will be safe.

Depends on where you met him, some perv site for sex, or just a plain ordinary chat site? Chances are reversed in this situation, if you go to a sex site you may meet a nice guy, if you go to a open for all site, you will probably end up with a sicko on your hands!

meet in a public place and bring a friend or 4 with you, the length of time is not very important. but do not meet this guy alone!!!!!!!!!!!
