If you don't know God, you won't see the evidence. I was just explaining this to someone else, about how you have to have some faith first if you want to see the evidence.
Yeah, I'm sure some things about religion seem unbelievable. I thought so for awhile. But when I had faith and decided I needed God in my life, I began to see evidence that He's there.
If you at least open your mind to spiritual things, you may get some understanding.
If you don't believe, and yet you're here asking questions about it, maybe you're unsettled about your view - maybe you don't really think it's ridiculous and you're searching for some meaning in life... something beyond this crazy world. Man, I certainly wouldn't feel good about being alive in this world the way things are today if I hadn't come to know God.

no

if you actually look at the "evidence" that some scientists use to believe in the THEORY of evolution, its probability of happening is beyond the numbers of impossibility. They still havent been able to prove it to this day, hence its still a theory.

it takes a lot less faith to believe in God, when you can see his perfect creation and balance here on earth.

take a look at it yourself, i recommend the study produced by Dr. Kent Hovind

good luck

PS... people always and only war for 2 things: 1=power, 2= personal beliefs (religious or not). Hitler wanted to rid the world of Jews, that had nothing to do with any of his Religious beliefs.. just his personal beliefs. Doesnt make it right though..

Evidence requires faith to believe, also. Do you believe the sun will rise in the East tomorrow?

What is faith? It is the confident assurance that what we hope for is going to happen. It is the evidence of things we cannot yet see.

It would be even stranger to worship something tangible and scientifically explained, such as the sun or moon. I'm certainly not going to worship a human being either. Your question is a rather pathetic and unnecessary attempt to ridicule people with faith.

You are not very well educated are you? The Bible is based on facts. Science, Archeology, Anthropology. All the prophecies foretold by the Bible that have come to pass. People have been convicted of murder with less evidence than the Bible provides. Why do people believe what is said in the media and doubt what the Bible has proved? It never ceases to amaze me.

Here's the thing, you don't have to see something to belive in it. The whole you can't see air/gravity thing is used way way to much but people actually have experiences with what they belive. They feel it, they don't just blindly stumble in. And besides there is proof of some religious belief. E.g There are documents written by Jews and Romans about a dude called Jesus who performed incredable works. People who didn't want to belive it themselves actually recorded it for people to read in the future. Anyway so there is proof, anyway so yeah.

Yeah you are right on observing that. If such great like a creator exists he dosent have the need to proof himself like we wish to, he dosent depend on you opinion, he just "is" whether we accept it or not, but we as human being have that necessity to prove to others that we are right and we try to convince ppl and try to receive some sort of recognition, we all have a hard time when ppl dont agree with us, which can create hatred, and hatred can create wars. So yeah our own selfishness makes this world what it is today, not the great being itself.

Worship? Lorded over? They were taught to I suppose.
But, faith. That's not so bad. Faith that I can make my dreams come true. Faith that people will wake up and evolve.
AND, not everything is understood by our scientific community, many mysteries unsolved.
Maybe some people (seth speaks) talk to spirits from another dimension and mistake it for a god?

Depends upon what you consider evidence. I have enough evidence to satisfy me, maybe what we need are more straight jackets for those you mean--those without evidence and hear voices in the head?

All worship is based on faith in something or some one to perform a specific act. If you worship your car, then you pray that it will not break down, and your form of worship is worrying over it with meticulous maintenance. If you worship your wife or girlfriend, then you pray that she will not leave you and you express this worship by showering her with gifts and affection.
