My brother-in-law left a company he had been working at for some time. They all clubbed together and bought him a beautiful leather briefcase. Then they all went out for a drink ....... On the way home on the train, later that night, he knew he need to honk. There was only one thing for it. He opened the new briefcase, threw up in it and left it on the train........... Sad but true!

Airplanes have... um, "discomfort bags" in the event you need to vomit. Some buses and trains also have these barf bags. I'm not aware of any transportation provider that will supply medication (except for cruise ships), and most medication would do no good once you are feeling motion sick. If the upset stomach is caused by something else, you are out of luck as far as medication is concerned. If the transportation company gave you something and you got sicker, the normal course of things in the US would be to sue the transportation company. Therefore, no company in the US will give you more than sympathy.

well your question isnt very clear to me (im probably just reading it wrong) but what i got was that your either talking about a cure for motion sickness, or wondering what would happen if you have a medical emergancy on a bus or train. well... ill go with motion sickness

i dont know any immediate relief, but my sister has SEVERE motion sickness. Before every trip she takes a ginger pill or eats ginger. it helps alot.

sorry if thats not what you were asking.

Travel sickness has a lot to do with ear balance.
If you could lie down, I know it's not possible sometimes, but if you are that bad that you are going to vomit it can't hurt to try it.
It should help you until you find the right travel sickness pill for you.
I don't suffer that way but I do sympathise with you.

You need to take a bottle of water, polo mints. When you feel the sickness, take deep breaths..head between legs..(ladies who have given birth.similar to a contraction breath!) then sipwater and suck a polo mint!
It works for some..others need to to travel sickness tablets available at most pharmacies!

Keep some dramamine handy. It's a pill and you can buy it over the counter at any drug store. Or get your doc to give you Phenergan. I take it for extreme nausea.

Maybe you could stuff carrier/paper bags up your sleeves or even sew them into the cuffs, that way if you feel the urge to splurge you can whip it out like a bunch of flowers, magic!

both my kids get travel sick and so did i up till recently, studies show that blood sugars drop during travelling and makes you feel weak and sick, sucking on a lolly pop , or boiled sweets help us. there is many different tablets on the market, but i feel they make you feel worse, by dryin your mouth up and making you drowsy, i think the whole mind over matter thing is best with a sugary sweet.
