I am 33 year old guy, and comming out of a long term relationship. I haven't been on the dating scene in years. What does a woman look for in a guy today? Advice on clothing, cologne, and places to go, places to eat would be appreciated. My date is tonight and I want it to go off without a hitch! Thank you

Well im not sure what your date will be into, so I can only tell you what i look for in a guy. Dress wise, wear a nice pair of pants ( maybe good jeans or some corduroy pants) and a t shirt with a button shirt over top tuck your shirt in no girl likes a sloppy guy. make sure you are clean and presentable, go get a good hair cut, if you have facial hair trim it up if you shave then be clean shaven. Cologne is a hard one, depending on what kind of man you are, ( i mean like business man, rugged man,etc...) some nice ones out are Hummer, Hugo Boss is always good, Lacoste, I hear david Beckham has a nice one out so your choices are endless just stay away from stetson, and hi karate. Places to go eat you should ask your date what she feels like, and start off slow go for the dinner and if things go good from there you could do something casual like go to starbucks get a cup of coffee sit and talk get to know each other. Play it by ear dont burden yourself with too many plans that you feel obligated to do. Most of all be yourself and have a good time. Dont forget to smile, hold doors all the jazz. Good luck!

i know im not a woman, but heres my advise, wear something smart/casual, wear cologne but not an overpowering fragrance. Take her somewhere nice, it doesnt have to be fancy. make sure you have lots to talk about and be prepared to listen. and finally and most importantly be honest and funny and most of all be yourself!

I can't answer for anyone but myself - so here goes. Basically - my idea of the "ideal man" is someone who can be himself and not have to worry about what people think of him. If a woman goes for you, you'll at least know it's for YOU not what you might have to "offer"

Just pick her up in a clean car wearing clean clothes and having showered, put on deoderant, a little colone but don'e dose you self in it.. clean and trim those nails and then.. have a plan for what to do.. theater? dinner? bowling? dancing? comedy club? what?
then just be yourself...

go casual. check on what she likes and dislikes in food; light woody but a lil' cologne. amusement park will be very fun...
