I don't want to break the taillight lens, but I cannot find any other way to get to the bulb!! Do you remove the lens, or is there another way to get to the bulb/housing?

Pull back the gray trunk covering inside trunk to reveal two 8mm nuts on studs one wiring harness clip, remove nuts and then pull lamp assembly directly rearward off of two pawn shaped pegs. Bulb holders twist into the lens assembly Bulbs push into the bulb holders.

Don't try and remove the lens, if you did manage to get it off you've broken the seal by that point anyway. You go into the back of the the tail light assembly through the trunk.

you probably dont have to take off the lens. There should be a way to take the bulb out through the trunk. Consult with your owners manual.

usually, there is a panel you remove on the back side that is part of the trunk liner that gives you access to the bulb socket, one quick twist of the bulb socket should release it from the bulb housing.
