about as long as it will stay on your skin, but sharpie can be removed from skin easily w/ baby oil, so maybe hair conditioner would have the same affect?

first of all...DON"T COLOR YOUR HAIR WITH SHARPIES. IT IS NOT GOOD FOR YOUR HAIR. USE HAIR PRODUCTS LIKE NORMAL PEOPLE. As far as I know, if you put anything with alchohol in your hair, the color should come out. if you wash your hair enough times it'll probably fade as well. Otherwise, I'm guessing it'll last around a week.

depends on 3 things: strength of the marker, what color it is and how often you wash your hair. My friend used to do that kind of thing when we were in high school and her's would usually last 5-7 days. Hope that helps... :)

there is not any techniques i understand u can try this,only bypass dye ur shade with purple streaks. sharpies damages ur hair because of the fact f the chemical ingredients it has interior it.i would not advise u to apply sharpies. :)
