By some good whole wheat bread. Remove two slices from the center of the loaf. Spread mayonnaise on one slice and a good Dijon mustard on the other slice. Slice some tomato, onion, and a few lettuce leaves, these go on the piece of bread with the mayonnaise. On the slice with mustard put you cold cuts and a slice of cheese. Put together and eat. Enjoy it with a glass of ice tea.

I get as fresh bread as possible , the kind you have to cut , then I put a very thin layer of real butter, then mayonnaise on both sides, then i pile very thin ham (or whatever deli meat you love best), on both sides, mayo again, both sides, then put a layer of bread and butter pickles on one side, then I put lettuce...fold, slice and eat...delicious, but remember only the freshest of bread (that you slice) will do.......oh and sometimes I may add a layer of thinly sliced fresh tomatoes and put them on the otherside of the mayo and then add the pickles....I am on my way to making one now....oh any french fries go good with that sandwich, with malt vinegar, mayo and chopped onion for dipping (dip you fry into the mayo and then into the onions..they will stick to the mayo & Fry), add salt and you have yourself a wonderful lunch or dinner

Right now, I'm looking at a roast beef sandwich on multi-grain bread (with the grain on the crust, real multigrain). Thin sliced roast beef, provolone cheese, rich deli mustard, thinly sliced tomato, butter.

Hope that inspires you.

I use oat nut bread, usually ham, Cheddar cheese, and honey mustard. Tomato if I have it. And yes, I think your sandwich sounds fine, the only other thing I would put on it is my mouth.
