I've known this guy for over three months. He flirts with me constantly and I flirt back. He knows that I like him. The problem is that both of us are shy. We haven't even kissed. I'm trying to give him a little space to get his act together, but I'm growing impatient. How can I get him to make a move without looking desperate?

Forget the traditional rules that a man has to make the first move. You do it dammit! If you wait and wait for him to make that move it may never happen. it's even better that you both are on the same level so things are easier. There are subtle ways you can do this with out looking desperate. Like for instance, find something that you both enjoy and let that be your jump off.

Well in matters like this you need to show him some expression that you don't mind going further. You can accomplish this by kissing him on the cheek, hugging him, caressing his face with yours hand, getting closer when you speak to him.
If you want to try something cheesy and fixed, try taking something of his (like his baseball cap, or sandwich, something you can hold in your hands that he'll grab for) and keep it from him. Make him get it from you and work it so he wrestles you to the ground. Once he has you in that familiar position go for the kiss.

Why not ask him out for coffee or something? If you wait around for him to make the first move, someone may make a move on him instead...

Don't miss out because you are "shy"...I know it's tough but it's better to give it a shot, than miss out and wonder what might have been...

Honestly, the girl should make the first move because the boy is usually intimidated by the girl.
