I completely support our troops and their efforts. You will not get any validation from the antiwar left on this though. They cannot acknowledge anything about the war in a positive way. Too many of them are locked into the mindset of Bush hating for that. Because people are dying ( a fact of war), because it is hard (another fact of war), and because it couldn't be cleared up in 30 minute news cycle they are ready to abandon Iraq. This should not be considered an indictment of all liberals or democrats because many don't agree with the war, but do not think we should cut and run. The hardcore antiwar types would leave the people of Iraq to their fate, rather than the proper action of finishing what we have started. This is because many of these people don't care if the Iraqis are free and they don't care if these people die (evidenced by the numerous posts I see daily stating how these people were so much better under Saddam Hussein) at the hands of insurgents who would take over the country. Instead it is pull out now, the war is illegal, it's only about oil, Bush lied, were losing and any other vile rhetoric they can conger up to support their cause. Just be happy that these people are not in power and contrary to what they believe about the upcoming election, security is still a huge issue with American voters. Their tactics have not gone unnoticed in this country and voters may not like the right, but they surely do not trust the left. In what has become another catch-22 election year the voters will almost surely choose security again. Just as they did in 2004.

There have been over 100,000 Iraqi's killed since we invaded their country and tried to spread our democracy. In a recent study there is more torture going on in Iraq today than there was under Saddam.

All that we have done is given the terrorists a cause. Perhaps those who sat on the fence before 9/11 are now enraged by our assault on the arab world.

The orphans and those who lost loved ones in our invasion of Iraq, now have a damn good reason to hate us far more than before. All we have done is create a hotbed for terror.

This is not about supporting our troops, this is about the evil of using our troops in such an irresponsible and stupid manner.

The world is no more safe since we have invaded Iraq, no good has come of it and thousands of Iraqis and over 2,500 American troops are now dead. Thousands more have been maimed and injured. What do we have to show for all this? Nothing. Just a bill to the taxpayer of half a trillion dollars that could have been spent on something useful.

Do you still, honestly, believe that the war in Iraq is saving us? Do you still believe it is saving them??? If you do, you have not been paying attention to anything!!!! Not all our troops think we should be there including active and retired generals. Don't you watch/listen to/read the news? Well, I guess if all you watch is Fox and all you listen to is Rush Limbaugh, then that explains your ignorance. Please, do yourself and us a favor and start educating yourself about the reality of what's going on over there and how it is making us less safe, not more.

Well we can have so many more people over there helping us if they opened up all of the prisons and sent the harden criminals over there since in their own country all they want to do is rape and kill! On top of that it would save the tax payers a lot less money to house their a*ses!
