In every religion the qualifications are different. I am a Jehovah's Witness. For us, we must first behave in a way that would bring honor to God. Then, we must learn what the Bible teaches about God, his son, Jesus Christ, the angels, the devil, and a whole bunch of other things. Then, we must meet with the elders to have them and God determine whether or not we really understand the scriptures. We must do this 3 or 4 different times. Each time, the elders pray and ask God to let them know if there is anything lacking. If everything is determined to be in harmony with God and the Bible, Jehovah God and the state of Missouri recognizes us as ordained ministers.

A preacher is a person that goes out and preaches the Gospel of Christ to others.. Anyone even a small child can do this.
The spiritual gifts are:
Apostle
Pastor
Teacher
Evangelist
And those are positions within the church that God calls people to do.. or Jobs if you will.

Find people who agree with you and like to hear you talk about whatever beliefs you have. Find a time and place to meet and you're all set. If you want to be legally ordained, pop over to www.ulc.org (universal life church). They'll ordain anyone who asks and puts in their real legal name and home address, for free!

If you use a pre-designed holy book, be sure you know it. Otherwise, write your own and claim it is 'divine revelation'.

Congradulations, you're now a preacher of whichever religion you've chosen.

The best way is to enter a University and get courses toward your goal. A Preacher who is well educated is a big plus for any congregation. He will speak with knowledge and wisdom. You can do your research on Universities and which one would fit you best on the Internet. Good Luck.

All you need to be a preacher is a voice, and the ability to use it.
If you want to be a pastor, or minister, you need to go to an accredited college and be accepted by your denominations elders.

Start Preaching... If you convince enough people you are genuine you can start your own church and incorporate in some state and get your new congrigation to ordain you. then register with the state and you are legal....Or... you can study within an established denomination and when they feel you are ready they will ordain you.
