I means Christians are to be no part of the world just as Jesus.
Jesus refused political office, and taught that only God's Kingdom can solve the problems we face daily.
Jesus commanded Peter to put his sword away, cause those who live by the sword will die by the sword.
With these thoughts in mind, being no part of the world means more than just the moral teachings, christianity becomes a way of life.

John 17:15-17
15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
KJV
To tell you what it means to me wouldbe an opinion, and good for nothing. THe absolute truth is clear that those that conform to the ways in which the world decides to live outtheir lives and the world the world views origin, creation, and the future, are of the world adn its people. THose who stand out are those who believe in the truth, that the world is not correct and will guaranteed to lead you into failure and hell, the only way is thru the "incorruptible" seed which is the word of God by grace thru faith in Jesus Christ.

I like pearly gators answer myself, he / she has the right idea. We (who are born again in Christ) are not of this world, we are of His world, transformed in the Spirit, and in the process of being conformed by the renewing of our minds.
We just turn our faces and move toward Jesus and He orders our footsteps. But "move" being the operative word, we can't just stand still because Jesus is on the move, in fact He's just around the corner. Praise the Lord.
I like Debra M's answer also, she's focused on the practical application of our faith in Christ, the fruits rather than the roots of our relationship with God.

Galatians 5:16
This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
I don't watch TV or movies or listen to secular music, I try to live a life of self denial. We're supposed to be obediant to God's Word, and not live a life of pleasure and self gratification

Not of this World. Great scripture... to live like a light shining in this dark world. To be here, but an example of being like Christ. To live like Jesus. To be the salt, at least to pray for the strenghth to live like Jesus, with the Holy Spirit guiding you in each step.

John 17:16, "They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world."
Jesus was praying for His followers. As He is not of THIS world, neither are we. We are strangers and aliens on earth.

16 They are not of the world, as I also am not of the world.
To me this means that I am not to live my life by worldly values and ideas. I am not to seek to conform to the ways of this world. I strive to do so. I do not spend a fortune on makeup and expensive clothes, I grow what food I can, I sew, I raise and teach my sons, I seek to live in peace and harmony with all around me.

I beleive John 17:16, along with all other dogmatic scriptures, are philosophical in nature and have different meanings to different people. The obtuse take them literally.
I guess the "CHRISTIANS ONLY" is your very special way of being inclusive with your religious discussions. What are you afraid of?!?!?
