Although sometimes being the bearer of bad news sucks because most people "shoot the messenger", I would tell him. Although please keep in mind that he may assume that you're only telling him this because you're jealous or still have feelings for him. However, it is up to you as far as what should be told to him. Please take into consideration that he may not appreciate being told, and you might lose him as a friend. If you feel that your friendship with this person is strong enough, then by all means, let him know what is going on.

I'd just casually drop it assuming that he already knows that she is in another relatioship.

Since you to have a friends with benifit type of relationship you can always assume that this is the same type of situation he has with her as well....

Yes, definitely tell him. Why would you want a friend to suffer more heartache? The longer it goes on, the worse his pain will be

wow that's a tough one.If you tell him you might look like you're jealous.but then if you don't he might ask you why you didn't and get mad at you. I have been in both I told him and would probably do it again. So you need to weigh you options and decide what is right for you

When you tell him
Will you expect him to come back to you.

Tell him! What if he finds out you knew all along and didn't tell him. You must tell him. Best of Luck.
