Ok so do you need to believe in God to be religious??? or does a religion need to have a god to be a religion??? Basically can anyone give me their veiw of what a religion consists of? Do you need to worship or is belief enough? Do you have to abide by rules or commandments? Does religion need a title ie.Christianity or Islam to be a religion? Can you be the only person who follows your religion or does there need to be a community?(I'm not interested in becoming part of a religion incase anyone tries)

There are more religons in the world then squirells in New Jersey. Many, many religons out there worship god, or many gods and godesses, cows, or nothing.

There is a fine line between belief and worship. You can believe in many gods and goddesses by thinking they are there, and you can worship them by prayer and magick.

You can make up your own religon, and it does not need a title. Like I said, it is purely what you belive in. Many people believe in the same or simmilar things, and that is why there are titles, like Chrisitanity and Islam.

You can make a religon and follow it in your own way. You have a free will, and you can believe in WHATEVER you want to believe in. That's the beauty of it.

Buddhists are agnostic, we have guidelines, we have community. Religion is defined by a religion, if someone says that I believe in this religion no one has the right to say "That's not a religion". It is in the follower's perspective, and nobody has the right to define that word...

I don't think you have to belong to an organized religion to be a spiritual person. I don't find fault with the ten commandments so for me it's easy to follow them. I see them as a good thing.

As per hinduism, you need not believe in any religion or God !!!

If you believe in yourself...you are spiritual (a higher stage than religion)

If you believe that Universe is Intelligent and conscious...then u r a hindu.

No. The religion of secular humanism is rampant in the world today, and it has nothing whatsoever to do with God.
