Do you believe you can you tell when someone close to you is about to die?
I have 3 examples of this.

My cousin and I became extremely close when I was 15. He happened to be the only one who could pick me up from school. We began talking and he talking about stuff. I told him I was worried for his life. Exactly a week later he was killed.

When I was 21 I started crying in bathroom for 15 minutes. Then went to hug my mom in her room. Within 2 minutes we recieve a phone call stating my aunt had died 15 minutes earlier.

I was talking to my moms boyfriend about need to have preplanned funeral arrangements for my grandfather. Exactly 24 hour later he passed away at home.

Now, I started thinking about death and dying heavily 2 wks ago. My grandmother was rushed to hospital last week. My cousin who is a nurse says she does not have long.

Could this all be a coincidence or can you really tell when someone is about to die?

That's a good question. Thank you for posting it.

I don't think that as a general rule that would hold true. However, there's a bond between people who are very close. We've all seen it....you are thinking of calling someone and the next thing you know your phone's ringing. Guess who.

And there are stories of twins who know when the other is sick, even though they are separated by many miles. The list goes on.

So I would say that it is the bond that people share that allows these feelings to come through. We call them vibes. Some people feel it more strongly than others, and you could be one of those who do.

Everybody has the ability to be psychic. Sometimes that ability only comes out for bad things. This is because (and keep in mind that these are just MY beliefs) traumatic events stay in your mind longer than others. I feel when people who are close to me are ill or dying. I can't really explain how, but I just KNOW... It can be a blessing and a gift. It helps with the grieving period, if you already have a clue of something, but it's hard to handle when something like death is unexpected.

It could be a coincidence, but I do not believe that it is in your case; since it has happened so many times. It may be possible that God is trying to use you to minister to others in such cases. I know that it is not the most pleasant answer to give unto you, but it sounds as though God is trying to warn you of such things; and maybe if this is true, is because that He knows the victim envolved needs to hear the truth before they die. By that I mean that they may need encouraging in their last days. They may need to know that Jesus loves them, and that He wants to save their soul before they leave this earth; if He has never been allowed to do so. But of course if this should be the case, you need to be certain that you have asked Jesus to come into your own heart, and be the Savior and Lord of your life. I can not say for certain that this is the purpose, but I would not hesitate to say that this has happened as many times as it has happened to you, that you most certainly need to pray to God to please show you the reason why. For He is most certainly on your side, in every way. Maybe He is just showing you people whom you need to pray for, while you still have a chance to do so. Prayer can change many things; including the condition of one's physical condition. God can and still does perform miracles. He never changes. I hope that I have helped you, at least a little bit. I will keep you in my prayers. Just pray for God to give you guidence and direction. I am certain that He will do so.

I can tell when people are going to die. My husband's great uncle was poised on the brink of death although he showed no symptoms of it. I told my husband to go see him and then, a week later, he died. Other examples of this have happened as well.

It's not something that will make you popular on the party circuit however.
