You need to watch what you eat and how much. It's very important to start shedding a few lbs first. Then exercise differently everyday for awhile ex. walk, then crunches, then stretch etc... this way you won't hurt as bad until you get use to it. Crunches are the best for your stomach, but make sure you are doing them correctly, check with a physical therapist, PE teacher, or even a gym. Doing them wrong can hurt your back or neck and you may not get the results you are searching for. As you tone, you may weigh more but look better because muscle is heavier than fat.

Sadly, you cannot lose fat in one place. You lose fat and gain it all over at the same time.
Diet is extremely important. To slim your body you must:
Burn more calories than you eat.
Cut your fat intake.
Eat three cups of fat free low cal yogurt a day (make sure it has live cultures in it) and pineapples. This helps you break down your food.
Do 45-60 min. of aerobic exercise a day (preferably before you eat in the morning). This will attack the fat.
Do 30 min of weight training three times a week. This will build lean muscle which will in turn burn fat.
When you do crunches, pull your belly button to your spine. This will train your abs to stay pulled in and not hang out.
I lost 40 lbs in two months and have kept it off for two more months doing this. I also took my body fat % from 30% to 14%
Be Blessed

Some people gain their fat around their belly first. There is no such thing as spot reducing. If you go on a good dietary regimen with exercise you'll lose it there first. Sit ups only strengthen your abdominal muscles, but don't reduce the fat locally. General increase in heart rate (walking etc) and reduction in fat and sugar should do the trick. I don't think it'll be fast, but it will be effective

Crunch sit ups.
You do a sit up slowly to only about a third of the way up. Keep your elbows out to the sides of your head, and use your stomach muscles to pull yourself up, rather tahn pushing your elbows forward and using momentum.
And watch the carbs!

you are going to have to hit the floor and do some sit ups. If you can afford the ablounge chair at walmart and other dept. stores for 98.00 it really helps your back & you can feel it right away. Mabey santa will bring you one. But really this is the only way~

Stop eating late and do about 150 sit ups a day at intervals.

Eating Big Macs is a good start.
Then try to lay around and watch television for awhile.
If you keep up this regimen and stay persistent, you should lose about 90 lbs. in 3 minutes.
