My mom has been having problems with my 16 year old sister since she was prolly 12. She has stolen everyones car to go joyriding (to which the police officers responded, in front of her) we cant do anything, she has to do something MAJOR for her to get locked up. She doesnt go to school, she smokes pot (and who knows what else) shes even being investigated for a drive by shooting. There has to be someone out there who knows TEXAS law, and can let me know what my mom can do about locking her up, and not having her kill some one or be killed herself. All the cops tell my mom to let her do whatever she wants and when shes 17 she'll get locked up. Im tired of my mom going thru this, and something has to be done before my mom dies of a heart attack!

Boot camp and programs like that may help some kids, but they are outrageously expensive. Then you have to consider the costs of transportation too, if you don't have any nearby.
Sometimes you do have to lock them up, and the way she is acting, sounds like she does need it, or she may hurt herself, endangering her life.
Contact the local police. They can refer her to Juvenile Matters, where someone can file a "family with service needs" motion. Once she has a probation office assigned, you get counseling, and she can land in detention if she keeps fooling around.
Best luck, dear

I accept as true with you to some extent; it is your body and also you ought to have some administration. it could be truly difficult to be 14. yet do you already recognize what would happen to you on the more youthful age of 14 in case you ran far flung from living house? If some thing's happening at living house it truly is bothering you or if someone is hurting you, then you fairly prefer to communicate with a school counselor or instructor or someone you've self belief instantly away. in case you opt for to run away because you aren't any more getting to do what you opt for, please re-imagine it. Being homeless, devoid of money, and no foodstuff, and no selections will be insufferable....in case you survived in any respect. no count what your causes are, you ought to communicate with someone about the way you sense besides -- it might probable help you get a better suited attitude on many ranges and it might genuinely placed you in a better suited position mentally and emotionally. Please communicate with a counselor or a instructor that you've self belief.

I'm not certain if this is what you're looking for, but I believe it could be a start. This is basically "juvie hall", or whatever is the current term for Juvenile Probation/Rehabilitation programs. Check the link in the sources section below. Hopefully, even if this is not the answer to your problem, it will be a good starting point.
Hope this is of use and help to you. Best of luck.

What about boot camp? Your mom should all your local social services to see what she can do. Your sister is destroying the home.

Couldn't your mom have her institutionalized for destructive behavior? I know parents who have done this inthe state of Virginia. Our kids go before a judge if they miss too much school!
Good Luck

bend her over her knee and whip the sh!t out of her.
Put deadbolts on her doors, take her phone away, lock her windows. Don't let her talk to her "friends".
