I got some injury to my throat, it's painful.. it's not from being sick or getting a cold. more like ..maybe a scratch from some food i ate. I can't read out loud or talk much because it hurts more..and i have to let it heal. So what can i do? i'llbe wasting alot of time...:(

Continue reading and listening to the language. Even though you're not speaking, your mental knowledge of the language will continue to grow. Then when you can speak again, the things you learned in the meantime will come out.

I had laryngitis last year - now's a good time to practice reading and writing! And listening! We went to my favorite restaurant where they speak my second language, and I wrote everything down!

Read the language and listen to the language on CD/CD-rom/DVD.

I have found the easiest way to "stay in touch" with a language is to try to think in it.
