We will all be still Spirit Souls, part of God as children of God.
Vedic Culture does not believe in Stamping a person as Hindu or Muslim or even atheist...
The nature of Soul is Service.. If you do not serve God you will serve your wife or girlfriend or your body or may even keep a Dog and Serve Him...
Its not that those who dont pray to father for Bread, do not get their bread.. Just like Even in Jail the government supplies food.. Hence God will supply you with your needs even you stop believing in him...
Still those who know the mercy of God, still want every one to serve God and be happy, rather than remain always dying and again hanging upside down in the womb of different mothers.

He is still a Hindu.

But Hindu is not a religion in the same sense as The Abrhamic religions. Its a set of philosophies. Everything imaginable has been tried out, and nothing ever has completely been rejected.

Hinduism have a philosophy (called Sankhya) which does not believe in God as a King.

Pls dont compare Hinduism with these childish philosophies !!

Sage kapil, refulsed to believe in God as King...and he is respected by Hindus

Budhha refused to believe there is any god, and hindus treat Budha as 9th Incarnation of God

Wake up!!

atheism means to be without theistic beliefs.

Therefore an atheist does not believe in ANY divinities; ie, God.

Good question though.
