Why don't you also pour acid over the remains and then empty a few containers of worms, fungi and bacteria into the pile? Then just for fun you could always put it into your compost pile. You know what, though? even with all of that it may still be scientifically possible to identify the victim and trace the killer.

Yes. Cube it, and it will decompose faster.
It's also going to let off a heavy scent, so I'd bury it deep or way out in the middle of nowhere, or a dog might dig it up.

There is much more surface area on a body that's chopped up. Bacteria and other organisms have more space to do what they do.
